High pressure will remain over the region today. Lingering low
clouds over parts of NE Montana will gradually clear today. Upper
ridge today and Friday will bring warmer temperatures and dry

A shortwave trough and cold front moves through the area Friday
evening. It will be a dry front with breezy west winds.

Another ridge moves through the area on Saturday keeping
temperatures at or above normal with dry weather.

Then, a shortwave trough on Sunday and Sunday night bring a cold
front through the region which will bring a chance of light rain
or light snow to the region.

Northwest flow aloft will prevail Monday with somewhat colder
temperatures. An upper trough gradually digs along the Pacific
coast Tuesday and Wednesday with a trend towards colder
temperatures and chances for snow at times. However, models differ
on details of this system and it impact on NE Montana. Forrester



Flight category: a mix of IFR, MVFR and VFR this morning. VFR
this afternoon and tonight.

Winds: light and variable this morning becoming south to SW 5 to
10 knots this afternoon and tonight.

Discussion: low clouds linger over parts of NE Montana this
morning with patchy fog. Skies will clear by afternoon and will
remain mostly clear tonight.
