Discussion...
a strong line of showers and thunderstorms affected most of east
central Florida this morning, from lake to Brevard/Okeechobee counties
and on its general southeast movement it lost intensity. However,
a few wind gusts around 30 kt were reported. For the rest of the
morning and early afternoon, the line will continue to move over
the Treasure Coast and it should clear Martin County by mid
afternoon. A few storms will remain possible for the waters east
of the Treasure Coast trough the afternoon. After the passage of
the main line, skies have cleared but patches of middle clouds can
be seen on satellite moving into our area from the west. Temps
behind the line have dropped a few degrees after reaching the
lower 70s earlier this morning but with some diurnal heating,
these should warm up again to the mid 70s. Forecast for this
morning was adjusted to radar trends and it might need another
update in the early afternoon as the line quickly exits our County Warning Area.

Aviation...
kmco to kdab and klee will observe winds from the west at 5-10 kt
and occasional gusts to 20 kt with some clearing of clouds but
with additional middle clouds on their way to these sites for the
early afternoon. For ktix and kmlb, sky coverage will become scattered.
Isolated thunderstorms and rain will affect kvrb and kfpr thru 16z and ksua will
see rain showers in the 16-18z window, reducing briefly visibilities.

Marine...
after the passage of a strong line of showers and thunderstorms
this morning, winds have dropped from the west for the nearshore
waters east of Volusia and Brevard. The line will continue to
generally move to the east and clear the waters by mid-afternoon.
In the meantime, boaters should remain attentive to the weather
moving towards the coast from the west from Indian River to Martin
counties as gusty winds and localized higher seas remain possible.
The Small Craft Advisory remains in effect through 4 PM today for
the offshore waters.
