* what... south winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and steep
wind driven seas of 8 to 10 feet at 13 seconds expected through
this evening. Winds increase to 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35
kt with very steep seas 12 to 16 feet beginning tonight.

* Where... Small Craft Advisory conditions are expected beyond 15
nm from shore through this evening, then very steep and
hazardous seas will impact all areas beginning tonight.

* When... for the Small Craft Advisory, until 10 PM PST this
evening. For the hazardous seas warning, from 10 PM this
evening to 10 am PST Saturday.

* Impacts... very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
damage vessels. Bar crossing will become especially
treacherous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port
