... Excessive heat watch remains in effect from Tuesday morning
through Thursday evening...

* temperature... highs 112 to 117.

* Impacts... overexposure to the heat can cause heat cramps and
heat exhaustion to develop and, without intervention, can lead
to heat stroke. Do not leave children or pets in parked
vehicles.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

An excessive heat watch means that a prolonged period of heat is
expected. Excessive heat can create a dangerous situation in
which heat illnesses are possible. Drink plenty of fluids...
frequent air-conditioned spaces... stay out of the midday sun...
and check up on relatives and neighbors.
