tides through early tonight.

* Coastal flood impacts... mainly nuisance flooding of low lying
areas around times of high tide.

* Timing... above normal water levels will during times of high
tide through this evening.




Wind Advisory
Issued: 4:07 AM EDT Oct. 19, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 8 am this morning to 8 PM
EDT this evening...

* what... southeast winds becoming southwest at 20 to 30 mph, with
gusts of up to 45 mph.

* Where... across portions of southeast Georgia and northeast
Florida.

* When... from Saturday morning through late this evening. Winds
may peak from late morning through the early afternoon.

* Additional details... people are urged to secure loose objects
that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.

* Impacts... gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds greater than
25 mph are expected for at least an hour, with gusts of 35 to
57 mph at any time.

Minor damage to trees, power lines, and property are possible
with wind of this magnitude. Motorists in high profiles vehicles
are advised to use caution until the wind subsides. Strong winds
can topple trees, blow weakened roofs off houses, and down power
lines. Take precautions to secure trash cans, lawn furniture, and
any other loose outdoor objects.
