... Cold blast and snow Tuesday night through Wednesday night...

This is a Special Weather Statement from the National Weather
Service office in Riverton.

* What... strong cold front with possibly significant snow.

* Where... central Wyoming.

* When... Tuesday night through Wednesday night. A strong cold
front will surge south across central Wyoming Tuesday night.
Snow is expected to break out late Tuesday night and Wednesday,
and last through Wednesday night.

* Additional details... a few to several inches of snow are
possible from this storm system. Higher amounts are likely from
Lander to Jeffrey City over to Casper. Highs on Wednesday will
struggle to get out of the 20s.

* Impacts... travel could become hazardous on Wednesday, and remain
so through the Thursday morning commute. This includes
Interstate 25 in Natrona County, as well as highways 220, 287,
and 789 in central WY.
