What? You've gone all Facebook on us? I think OGal has, too. Me, I'm still resisting. I can't keep up with what I've got going on as it is.

Off to Iowa & surrounding states on Friday. I've heard mutterings about stormy weather up there, but I'm more focused on cool (cold). It just occurred to me a few days ago that flipflops and shorts may not be the ticket for Iowa and Minnesota in October. ;-)

Good Sunday Morning to you, ((Ally!))

For now, I'm relieved to see that your area's not caught up in those massive tropical storm rainbands!! It looks like T/S Lee won't effect Mass. but may be making its way towards an already flood-ravaged Vermont later in the week. Our greatest concern in Mass. is whether Hurricane Katia will move closer towards North Carolina before turning right or remain nearer to the Eastern Seaboard as she heads ENE towards Nova Scotia. When it comes to rainfall this year in the U.S., it's been either extremely all or nothing at all!

What a wild and crazy summer this has been! Hope you and yours remain safely out of harms way and manage to enjoy, at least, part of this long Labor Day weekend relaxing from all the daily grind or irritating hub-bub!

Last year our local supermarket put up its Christmas tree on the 30th September..... watching to see if it is any earlier this year! lol

I have my Halloween name ready and waiting for the Halloween fun here on WU - it has become an annual tradition - and like Christmas - traditions are meant to be kept!

Have a great weekend:)

Hi Ally.
Shocked to see Halloween items going onto shelves last week. I think shore's right. Halloween in mid-August gives new meaning to Christmas in July.

Good to see you around. Hope you and yours are well.

Hey, listen - our local stores have the Halloween stuff in stock already, and some of it is marked down! I guess it's a sign of how bad the economy is. Look for Christmas stuff about September 30!
