EPSILON:
Definitions & Usage
1. E, fifth letter of the Greek Alphabet

2. n. A small quantity of anything. “The cost is epsilon.”

3. adj. Very small, negligible; less than marginal. “We can get this feature for epsilon cost.”

4. within epsilon of: close enough to be indistinguishable for all practical purposes, even closer than being within delta of. “That's not what I asked for, but it's within epsilon of what I wanted.” Alternatively, it may mean not close enough, but very little is required to get it there: “My program is within epsilon of working.”

FLCG...I hope Alec doesn't read this, or it may give him heart palpitations. The "Delta-Epsilon Definition" is often used to prove things in calculus like continuity and the existence of limits by way of those "negligible" increments that always seem so darn chasmic in the world of calc. I can hear the poor kid screaming all the way here in Arizona :(
