Hi Guys,
4 days Charley
2 days Frances
1 day Jeanne

Nothing compared to some of you guys. But we
did lose our roof in Charley and went through
the other storms with lots of patches and many
leaks down the wall.

Hey {{Fran!}}

We were the lucky ones. Just 2 days after Ivan. Grand Cayman (Cregnebba and others) had power out for weeks in some areas. Given that keeping warm is never a problem here, we can 'weather' (I know, bad pun) a loooooog time without power.

We occasionally have power outages, but given that the whole island is run from one and sometimes a second diesel generator, I think we're pretty lucky. They do a GREAT job.

[shameless plug for CAYMAN BRAC POWER AND LIGHT! and all the men and women that get out of bed in the middle of the night to supply us all with pretty clean power]

sorry, I couldn't help myself

No electric for 20 days and no cable TV/internet for 36 days after hurricane Wilma. FPL's poles that service my street were all snapped in half or were blown to the ground. I was fortunate to not lose power after Frances, Jeanne and Katrina.
