~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ El Niño has been rough on many of us. Even if you aren't feeling the direct effects it has ways of impacting your life like higher food prices or a storm ravaged family member coming to stay. It is for our best to embrace the changes the extreme weather has wrought and make the most of them, like these people did.. Severe Landslide Creates Natural Skatepark (Storyful, Crazy)
Keen skaters, the pair took the opportunity to indulge in the pursuit on the unusual road and filmed the occasion for posterity.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Parade of El Niño storms is upon us. Ft Meyers seems to have a bullseye on it at the moment with an EF-2 tornado on 1/9/2016, followed by an EF-1 tornado yesterday 1/15/2016. Both storms also brought heavy rain, flooding, as well as downed limbs and trees, causing minor damage across other areas. Tonight the next and strongest storm of them yet is expected to blow through the Northern Gulf Coast and Florida. After that, the next possible storm sweeping through the south with damaging weather is expected Thursday and Friday January 21 & 22.
.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT... CONFIDENCE IN ANOTHER ROUND OF STRONG TO ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS CONTINUES TO INCREASE FOR LATE TONIGHT INTO EARLY SUNDAY. THIS FAST MOVING SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE A 2 TO 4 HOUR THREAT WINDOW BETWEEN 3 AM AND 8 AM SUNDAY FOR ISOLATED TORNADOES AND DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS OVER EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA. NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO MAKE A PLAN TO RECEIVE POSSIBLE WARNINGS WHILE YOU ARE ASLEEP.
