I'm a ham radio operator, and I love weather! I love to study hurricanes, and severe weather interests me. I'm located on Halls Mill Rd.

Radar is highly active tonight. img
Looking to tomorrow, we have a 60% chance of rain. We sure could use it.
Elsewhere, TD 2 is no threat to our area, but I do think that it has a good chance of becoming TS Barry sometime tomorrow. Hurricane Hunters are going to fly tomorrow morning, if necessary.

Good evening everyone. Was a very dreary day here in Mobile. After quite a bit of thunderstorm action overnight last night, it has just really been cloudy and cooler than usual today. A welcome respite from the heat we have been having.
Nothing of any significance in the tropics at this time. Some of the models are hinting at some trouble coming down the road, but no time soon.
Have a good night everyone!
Edit 8:21 PM
After analyzing models for the next 5 days, I'm thinking after rain tomorrow, we will have a nice rest of the week. Of course, as is the pattern here in June Tuesday through Friday look nice, hot, and humid. We should see our lowest humidity on Tuesday after the coming front blows through, but humidity values will go back to normal levels Weds thru Friday.
Mobile is reporting about 0.33 in of rain today.
Upper air pattern shows the trough that is back over Tx and LA moving this way by in the morning.
In summary, more rain tomorrow, then a nice rest of the week, and it appears that the tropics remain quiet.
