Live in Richmond VA. I'm a recent high school graduate who is looking to pursue a career in meteorology. Winter storms and the tropics fascinate me.

I hope you had a great thanksgiving with all the food. I was stuffed. Anyway, let's get down to business. We saw some snow saturday night and most of the NW part of Chesterfield County saw a fusing on the grassy areas. In my neighborhood it was actually starting to accumulate to the pavement but before it could do anymore it stopped. Most of the west end (Glen Allen, Henrico, etc) received between 1 and 2 inches of snow. In Lynchburg it snowed almost all day and they received between 3 and 4 inches. There was a winter storm advisory in effect for chesterfield, amelia, and other areas to the south and west of richmond. It was nice to see it come down.
2 storm systems will affect the area wed, thurs, and friday.
Tomorrow morning we may see a brief window of freezing drizzle maybe lasting up to 2 hours max. Wed will be warm in the 60's and it will rain. We may hear a few rumbles of thunder. Thurs we will receive a few showers but nothing much. Friday looks intresting and we may get a wintry mix with snow, freezing rain and sleet. It's something to watch over the next few days.
Have a great week
