Possible Severe outbreak April 13-17
By: weatherh98, 2:52 PM GMT on April 09, 2012
Beggining on April 13 it appears that we will enter into a weekend of strong severe weather.
Using the Gfs, early morning on friday the 13th, the system that will bring the severe weather is just entering into the central U.S. There is very little rain and thunder storms at this point.
On saturday, the severe weather may start to crank up over northeast Oklahoma and Missouri. By now you can tell that the system will probably not be a fast moving storm.
On sunday, It looks like a line of thunder storms will form over Central to east texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. The storm is now getting mor Gulf moisture and is beggining to become stronger.
Now you are able to see a Thumderstorm complex heading out of south texas and Into Oklahoma.
Here, (Monday the 16)you can see the previous complex heading north and intensifying as it does so, This is probably going to be more severe weather than the last couple of days.
On Tuesday, the last Strong complex forms in sout Texas and moves east into Louisiana, as this heads east I would expect this too become a hail event.
In the next days the storm will slide off the east coast.
