The Flood Warning continues for
the Des Plaines river at Lincolnshire, or from Townline Road in
Libertyville downstream to Palatine Road in Prospect Heights.
* Until Saturday evening.
* At 745 am Friday the stage was 13.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Saturday afternoon.
* Impact... at 14.0 feet... water threatens Lincolnshire Dr at Wiltshire
ln. Residences are threatened east of the river just south of IL-22
(half-day rd).

the Des Plaines river near Gurnee, or from US-41 in Gurnee
downstream to Townline Road in Vernon Hills.
* Until Monday afternoon.
* At 830 am Friday the stage was 8.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Monday morning.
* Impact... at 9.0 feet... residences threatened in Gurnee.

the Des Plaines river near Russell, or from IL/WI state line
downstream to US-41 in Gurnee.
* Until Monday morning.
* At 830 am Friday the stage was 7.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
early Monday morning.
* Impact... at 8.0 feet... agricultural land and park lands flood. Water
approaches a few homes near Railroad tracks.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Fox River near New Munster.
* At 4:00 am Friday the stage was 11.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
this morning.
* Impact... at 11.0 feet... floodwaters begin to affect 77th St. In the
town of Wheatland. Floodwaters are near some homes along Highway W
in the Village of Salem lakes and town of Wheatland areas.

precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and predicted
precipitation for the basin. Precipitation is for the next 24 hours
in the future from April through September and for 48 hours in the
