The Flood Warning continues for
the Missouri River at Waverly.
* Until further notice.
* At 1:30 am Monday the stage was 24.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 25.3 feet by this
afternoon then begin falling.
* At 23.5 feet... rural areas along the river which are not protected
by levees flood.

* Forecast... the river is forecast to have a maximum value of 24.8
feet Monday evening.
* At 18.0 feet... low-lying rural areas outside of levees begin to
flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Missouri River at Glasgow.

* From Monday morning to Saturday evening.
* At 9:30 PM Sunday the stage was 23.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by late Monday morning and
continue to rise to near 27.9 feet by Tuesday morning. The river
will fall below flood stage by Friday evening.
* At 25.0 feet... farmland along the river floods.

The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a dense fog advisory, which is in effect until 9 am CDT
this morning.

* Visibility... visibilities of one quarter mile or less are
times are expected.

* Impacts... dense fog will make for hazardous travel early this
morning until a gradual improvement after sunrise.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
