Wyoming...

This is a Special Weather Statement from the National Weather
Service office in Riverton.

* What... periods of snow with significant snowfall possible.

* Where... western Wyoming.

* When... Saturday and Sunday. The heaviest, most widespread
snowfall is expected Saturday afternoon and evening.

* Mountain snowfall amounts... 5 to 12 inches with the highest
amounts over the western facing slopes. Higher amounts are
possible over the Teton mountains where a Winter Storm Watch is
in effect. Only 1 to 4 inches of snow is expected over South
Pass.

* Basin and valley snowfall amounts... 1 to 4 inches with higher
amounts possible over the northern portions of Jackson Hole.

* Additional details... travel could become slick and hazardous at
times. Please keep updated on the latest forecasts as snow
amounts could change as the Fall storm system begins to take
shape.
