... Winter Storm Watch in effect from late Wednesday night through
Friday afternoon...

* what... heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of one to
two feet possible in the mountains. Sustained winds 20 to 30
mph with occasional gusts around 40 mph.

* Where... Teton and Gros ventre mountains, southern Yellowstone
National Park, and the northern half of the Salt River and
Wyoming ranges.

* When... from late Wednesday night through Friday afternoon.

* Impacts... travel over Teton Pass could become very difficult
and hazardous. These conditions will impact the Thursday evening
and Friday morning commutes in these areas.

* Additional details... the heaviest snow is expected to fall from
sunrise Thursday through Thursday evening. Wind speeds are
likely to increase Thursday evening into Friday morning. As a
result, travel may be most difficult Thursday evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Consider delaying or altering your travel if you were planning to
travel through western Wyoming Thursday or Friday. Monitor the
