Special Statement
Issued: 3:58 AM CST Nov. 11, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Minor ice accumulations on elevated surfaces possible
tonight...

A strong cold front will arrive today with temperatures quickly
dropping through the remainder of the afternoon and evening hours.
Behind the front, scattered to areas of light rain are expected
to develop in the evening hours. As temperatures continue to fall,
some of this light rain could transition to freezing rain or
sleet. This is most likely to occur in The Hill Country and
Edwards Plateau this evening and tonight, but there could be a
window where precipitation is still falling when temperatures
reach the freezing mark around 4-6 am Tuesday morning in the
northern Interstate 35 corridor.

At this time, only minor accumulations are expected on exposed
elevated surfaces as the intensity of the precipitation is
expected to be light. This forecast will continue to evolve today
and changes to the forecast are possible.
