you must drive.

Fire Weather Warning
Issued: 4:11 PM PDT Oct. 19, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Red flag warning remains in effect until 10 PM PDT Sunday for
gusty northerly winds and low relative humidity for the Santa
Monica Mountains and San Fernando Valley...

* winds... north winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts 45 to 55 mph,
strongest in the Santa Monica Mountains and foothills of the San
Fernando Valley. Strongest winds tonight through early Sunday
afternoon.

* Relative humidity... minimum humidities 8 to 20 percent. Poor
recoveries tonight.

* Impacts... if fire ignition occurs, conditions would be
favorable for very rapid spread of wildfire and extreme fire
behavior which would threaten life and property.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are expected. A combination of strong winds... low relative
humidity... and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire
behavior. Use extreme caution with potential fire ignition
sources.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this red flag warning.
