... Significant weather advisory for Volusia, lake, northwestern
Seminole and western Orange counties until 630 am EST...

At 534 am EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line from Lake George to emeralda, and from Leesburg to west of
Mascotte. Movement was rapidly east-northeast at 55 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Deltona, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Sanford and Apopka.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.


A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 am EST for
east central Florida.
