... Very gusty winds possible over the next 1 to 2 hours...

Areas of moderate to heavy rain moving across eastern Iowa and
northwest Illinois are producing isolated strong wind gusts. At
208 am, a wind gust of 47 mph was measured at the Davenport
Municipal Airport.

Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible over areas along and
east of the Mississippi River as these rain Showers Pass.

Drivers of vans. Campers, trailers, and other high profile
vehicles should be extra cautious, especially on east-west roads.
