Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 3:19 AM CST Nov. 20, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 am CST this
morning...

* what... dense fog with visibility of a quarter mile or less.

* Where... portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana and
west Kentucky.

* When... through mid morning.

* Impacts... low visibility will cause dangerous driving conditions
for travelers overnight and during the Wednesday morning
commute. With temperatures below freezing, some slick driving
conditions may develop, especially on bridges and overpasses.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
