... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 1 am EST
Thursday...

* what... lake effect snow and blowing snow expected. Additional
snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches in the most persistent lake
snows across the Chautauqua ridge and close to Lake Erie. Winds
gusting as high as 40 mph will produce blowing snow and very
poor visibility at times.

* Where... Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties.

* When... through 1 am EST Thursday. Lake effect snow will remain
north of the area through early afternoon before moving back
south into the southern tier late this afternoon and into this
evening.

* Impacts... travel could be very difficult for brief periods of
time. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening
commute.
