The Flood Warning continues for
the James River at Ashton.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:45 am Sunday the stage was 13.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 14.7 feet by
next Sunday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 15.0 feet... significant amounts of farm land begin flooding.

the James River near Stratford.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:45 am Sunday the stage was 16.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 17.8 feet by
early next Sunday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 17.5 feet... the water reaches the bottom of the bridge 2 miles
north of the gauge.
