through late Wednesday night...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of southwest California... including the following...
Riverside County ... mountains... San Bernardino County
mountains... San Diego County coastal areas... San Diego County
mountains... San Diego County valleys and Santa Ana Mountains
and foothills.

* From Tuesday evening through late Wednesday night

* the first winter storm of the season will bring widespread
precipitation to the region.

* Periods showers, some heavy, and possible thunderstorms will
bring a threat of flash flooding and debris flows to steep
terrain, especially in and below recently burned areas. Flooding
of poorly drained and urban areas will also be possible,
presenting a hazard for motorists.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
