Special Statement
Issued: 1:48 PM CDT Sep. 22, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Elevated wildland fire danger this afternoon and early
evening...

The combination of steady SW winds gusting up between 20 and 30
mph at times, dry relative humidity values, and dry small fire
fuels will lead to an elevated wildfire and brushfire threat this
afternoon and early evening. Conditions will improve after sunset
as humidity levels increase a bit.
