Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 11:23 AM EST Nov. 17, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from midnight
tonight to noon EST Monday...

* what... freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of a
trace to one tenth of an inch.

* Where... portions of central, eastern and western Massachusetts.

* When... from midnight tonight to noon EST Monday.

* Impacts... difficult travel conditions are possible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

* Additional details... pockets of freezing drizzle may begin this
evening across parts of the area, but steadier rain will hold
off until later tonight into Monday morning. Temperatures will
be near or below freezing so any rain will freeze on untreated
surfaces. The greatest risk for light icing will be in the
Worcester Hills and the Berkshires where the coldest
temperatures are expected. However, near freezing temperatures
with pockets of freezing rain are possible in the Merrimack
valley and portions of the Connecticut valley. The
precipitation will become all rain by Monday afternoon as
temperatures rise above freezing.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible
power outages.
